Spirit Skateshop is the #1 core skateboarding shop in Montana. The pressure was on when designing a logo for a skateboard shop with such a pure and deep culture. Their previous location, in Spokane, WA, had shut down and with their new move to Montana, they needed a fresh layout of designs. This is where I came in!

It was a pleasure working with the team at Spirit Skateshop to create an authentic logotype that reflected the skateboard culture in a purist way. Through research into skateboarding’s history I formed a collection of influential graphics and logotypes.

Both the client and I were stoked to be able to come up with a set of logotypes that paid homage to the skateboard culture and bring a uniqueness to the Spirit Skateshop brand!
